Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Username, first and last name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) when you register manually.
• Social Sign-In Identifiers: If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive and store the unique account identifier your device provides for that sign-in method. We do not receive or store your social media password.
• Profile Information: Profile picture, gender (optional), your platform (Android, iOS, or web), content preferences and category interests you select, and optional social/website links (e.g., Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, your personal website) that you choose to add to your public profile.
• Activity Data: Artwork you like and the collections ("boards") you create to organize saved artwork.
• Device Information: The platform/operating system of your device and a device token associated with your installation. This token is currently stored for future notification features and is not presently used to send push notifications.
• Technical Data: When you use our website (e.g., to sign in via a browser), your IP address and browser (user agent) information may be recorded as part of standard session security.

We do not collect your precise or approximate location, phone number, or payment card details, and the App does not currently include comments, direct messaging, or a follower system.

You can create a Neferuart account using your email address and a password, or by signing in through Google, Apple, or Facebook. When you use a social sign-in option, authentication is handled by that provider's own SDK on your device; Neferuart only receives the account identifier needed to recognize your account on future logins. Your use of any third-party sign-in method is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy and terms.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage your account
• Let you browse, like, and organize curated artwork into personal collections
• Display your public profile and any social/website links you add
• Personalize the content shown to you based on your selected preferences and interests
• Send you account-related emails, such as password reset links
• Maintain the security of the App, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions

Neferuart does not currently process in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payments from users, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising or analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Other users of the App, limited to what you make public: your profile and any social/website links you add
• Service providers who help us operate the App, such as our hosting infrastructure and transactional email delivery (for example, password reset emails)
• Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights and users

We do not currently integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs within the App.

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Account sessions are secured using OAuth-based access tokens. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide the App's features described in this policy. You can request deletion of your account at any time from within the App. Once your account is deleted, it is deactivated immediately, can no longer be used to sign in, and your profile is removed from public view. We retain the underlying data for a limited period as needed for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, after which it is permanently removed from our active systems, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or correct your personal information from within your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Remove optional information you've added, such as your profile picture or social/website links
• Withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent

Neferuart is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information should contact us using the details below.

The App uses the following third-party sign-in services on your device to let you register or log in: Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and Facebook Login. The App is also distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Each of these third parties processes information under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. We do not currently integrate any advertising networks or analytics SDKs within the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
